English: Public Transport


Learn focused English skills to build confidence in everyday situations using public transport, including reading schedules and timetables, understanding routes and buying tickets.

Target Audience:

This class is best suited for those with some exposure to English who wish to build on their skills.

This class is subsidised by NSW government funding. Students who are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, or hold a Refugee or Humanitarian visa are eligible for this funding.

Full cost for those not eligible for funding is $70.00.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Strengthen vocabulary with English words and phrases
  • Understanding timetables
  • Understanding routes and making polite requests

Learning Methods:

This is a face-to-face class running for 3 weeks.

New class dates for Term 3 will be available in June.
