DIY Fragrances - Make Your Own Perfume


Embark on a sensory journey that deepens your connection to scents. This course explores a synaesthetic experience, where fragrance intertwines with coloor, texture, temperature, movement, emotions, and memories. Through olfactive exploration, you'll learn to categorize scents and build the foundation for crafting your first perfume notes composition. Discover the elements and techniques of perfume-making using essential oils, fragrances, and absolutes, while incorporating visual arts into the creative process. Let your imagination and creativity transport you to new realms!

Target Audience:

For those with an interest in fragrance appreciation and an interest in visual arts.
Those with allergies or a sensitivity to fragrance may find this class is not appropriate for them.
 

Please bring along:

  • A5 watercolour or acrylic paper/block
  • Watercolour or acrylic paints
  • Paintbrushes
  • Watercolour pencils (basic colours)
  • Pen
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Notebook
  • Two small glass jars with secure lid for fragrance making

Your tutor will provide:

  • Funnels and filters
  • Measuring glasses
  • Essential and infused oils
  • Paper strips
  • Cups and stirrers
  • Gloves and paper towels
  • Perfume bases
  • Manual
