CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support

This qualification is the entry level for those wishing to move into the aged or disability care industry as a support worker.

This full qualification utilises NSW government funding (Smart and Skilled). For eligibility information and to discuss options, please contact the College.

Target Audience:

This class is appropriate for those who have no mobility barriers, have basic digital literacy skills, a good grasp on the English language for reading, writing and communicating, and have a passion for helping others.

This qualification is ideal for those who have previously completed their Year 10 or equivalency, and/or have some experience with working in general due to the nature of topics and assessment tasks.

While funding is available for those under 18, this qualification requires 120 hours of work placement that those under 18 may struggle to secure due to the industry requiring National Police Checks, and Working With Children Checks.

Please discuss with our staff if this is the right qualification for you and your goals.
