Computer: Beginners

A computer beginners course to help you operate a personal computer. Learn the components of a computer, what are peripheral devices, how to activate your computer, system security and go on a live tour of a personal computer learning the basics.
This program includes the nationally recognised accredited unit of competency BSBTEC101 Operate digital devices.
Target Audience:
Those with little to no prior computer experience who wish to learn the basics.

This is a face-to-face class utilising an online assessment system in class.
Weekend classes run for 3 weeks duration with one class session per week.

- Creating folders and subfolders for organisation
- Using search and help functions
- Editing files and documents
- Deactivating devices
- Basic security and staying safe
- Deleting files and folders
- Downloading new apps and programs
- Memory devices and storage
