Office Skill Set
Learn how to utilise the most common Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
This is ideal for the beginner and/or people who would like to get a better understanding of how these programs work. Basic computer experience is essential. This course is delivered in a blend of face-to-face and self-paced online learning to develop the skills and knowledge required.
Completion of this class and the allocated assessment tasks will result in a Nationally recognised accredited Statement of Attainment.
Target Audience:
Those with some basic digital skills will benefit from this class. This class is great for people wishing to change careers who need assistance with things such as internet, documents, spreadsheets, communication and email, and a refresher of basic computer skills.
This class is eligible for NSW government funding (ACE). Australian/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents or those that hold a Refugee or Humanitarian visa may be eligible for funding. Please contact us to discuss.

Learning Outcomes:
- Navigate a computer and use the settings to customise features
- Ability to communicate using digital means such as emails
- Confidence in working with digital files and programs
- Expanded skills to create and utilise word processed documents, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
- Understand how to find information on the internet for ideas, projects, proposals, and presentations
Learning Methods:
This is a face-to-face class with online learning involved. Face-to-face classes run for 4 weeks. You may need to make time at home outside of class to complete the accredited assessments online.
