Welcome to Nepean Community College—where learning is local, inclusive, and life-changing. As the first community college in Penrith, we’ve proudly supported learners across Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains, and the Hawkesbury since 1988. Whether you’re here to gain a nationally recognised qualification, explore a new hobby, or build confidence in everyday skills, you’ve come to the right place.

We believe education should be accessible to everyone—regardless of age, background, or ability—and our courses reflect that. From accredited programs like Certificate III in Individual Support, Business, and Information Technology, to vibrant leisure classes in photography, sewing, cooking, yoga, and public speaking, there’s something here for every learner.

Our trainers and tutors are passionate professionals who bring warmth, expertise, and real-world experience to every classroom—whether it’s face-to-face, online, or a mix of both. We’re proud to offer subsidised options through Smart and Skilled and ACE, so cost is never a barrier to growth. And because we’re deeply connected to our community, our programs are designed to meet real needs—from youth engagement and disability support to refugee and multicultural learning pathways to upskilling existing workers and creating customised programs for industy. At Nepean Community College, you’re not just enrolling in a course—you’re joining a community that celebrates your goals, supports your journey, and cheers you on every step of the way. So whether you’re upskilling for work, rediscovering your creativity, or simply curious to learn something new, we’re thrilled to welcome you. Let’s make learning joyful, practical, and empowering—together.
