Course Outcome

Learning the basics of Upholstery with the end result of a restored piece of furniture.

On the first session bring

Please confirm your class is running prior to purchasing materials. Pen and paper, small piece of furniture e.g. dining chair, bridge chair. Tools, tack hammer or small hammer, flat head screwdriver, staple remover, scissors, side cutters and pliers.

Items to be purchased during the course

Padding materials, foam, fibre, webbing, hessian, fabric. Individual needs will be discussed. Tools for 2nd week; Staple gun (electric or spring action) List of suppliers will be provided. Also fabric requirements will be discussed.
