Learn to cover a fruit cake in fondant icing Decorate it with pipework ribbon and assorted flowers learnt through out the day. Including frangipani, carnations etc.

On the first session bring
Please confirm your class is running prior to purchasing materials. Small fruit cake from supermarket, 2 pkt pink box of Orchard white icing (fondant), 9 or 10 inch maisonette cake board, glue, scissors, silver or gold cake paper for board if not already covered, Rolling pin, sifted pure icing sugar, piping bag & tubes, modelling paste for flowers, wires, stamens, narrow satin ribbon, pastry brush, apricot jam or alcohol, food colouring, knife, set of frilled cookie cutters, sharp pointed scissors and a glass to mix the icing. Egg carton and foil, Paint brush, dish cloth, hand towel, board to roll paste on, knife, tweezers. Frangipani cutters, sponge foam (small piece), corn flour small amount in hanky, modelling tools. Royal Icing.
Items to be purchased during the course
Details from the tutor on the first day or a kit can be purchased from the tutor for $99 (Valued at $142.35) Please ask staff for a discounted kit list that can be purchased from the tutor. Wear warm clothing in Autumn and Winter as classrooms can get quite cold.
