Topics Covered include:
Learn the skills and knowledge required to use digital technology to undertake routine workplace tasks Identify task and purpose, audience and presentation requirements. Using technology perform and review task Learn the skills and knowledge required to maintain daily financial records such as reconciling debtors and creditors systems, preparing and maintaining a general ledger and trial balance and includes activities associated with monitoring cash control for accounting purposes. Maintain daily financial records, identify and rectify discrepancies and record debit and credit transactions Maintain general ledger, post transactions, reconcile accounts payable and receivable and prepare trial balance Accurately record cash flow, make and receive payments, follow up outstanding account and document Learn skills and knowledge required to record general journal adjustment entries and to prepare end of period financial reports. Prepare a register of property, plant and equipment, determine method of calculating depreciation and maintain the asset register Record depreciation, adjust expense and revenue accounts, record bad and doubtful debt, adjust ledger accounts Make general journal entries, post income and expenditure balances and prepare final general ledger accounts Make general journal entries, post income and expenditure balances and prepare final general ledger accounts
