If you've decided to get back into the workforce or are wanting to upskill then this course is for you. Microsoft Office is a computer package which includes a variety of programs. This course includes many keyboarding shortcuts and will help familiarise you with the most common Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher. Basic computer experience preferred. Continuation of document, addition of more complex formulas. conditional formatting and cell orientation tools. Charts and graphs. Page set-up , margins and printing techniques unique to spreadsheets BSBITU312 Create electronic presentations. Powerpoint. Introduction to layout of slide presentation program. Insertion of text and formatting options unique to slide show software. Insertion of autoshape tools to design slide layouts. Page controls. Insertions and importation of pictures, music and slideshow automation. ITU303 Design and produce text documents . Continuation of document, addition of more complex formulas. conditional formatting and cell orientation tools. Charts and graphs. Page set-up , margins and printing techniques unique to spreadsheets BSBITU306 Design and produce business docuements BSBITU309 Produce desktop published documents Word processing. Introduction to Office software. Keyboard layout and entering text. Spell check. Formatting text and document layout. Bullets and numbering techniques, using tabs and leaders to make well designed forms. Page setup, margins and borders, printing options and techniques.
Students will become proficient with the Microsoft Office package, familiar with a word processor, slide presentation program and spreadsheets.
