Topics Covered include:

Maintain daily financial records, identify and rectify discrepancies and record debit and credit transactions Maintain the general ledger, post transaction to the general ledger, reconcile system for accounts payable and receivable and prepare trial balance Produce an asset register, record entries for balance day adjustments, prepare financial reports reconcile error and apply double entry principles Prepare a register of property, plant and equipment, determine method of calculating depreciation and maintain the asset register Record depreciation, adjust expense and revenue accounts, record bad and doubtful debt, adjust ledger accounts Make general journal entries, post income and expenditure balances and prepare final general ledger accounts Make general journal entries, post income and expenditure balances and prepare final general ledger accounts Record accurately cash flow, make and receive payments, method of following up outstanding account, check all documentation for accuracy Learn the skills and knowledge required to use digital technology to undertake routine workplace tasks Identify task and purpose, audience and presentation requirements.
