Topics Covered include:
Learn the skills and knowledge required to use digital technology to undertake basic workplace tasks Identify the task and the appropriate technology Complete the task and review Learn the knowledge required to effectively identify, select and use available methods of digital communication in a workplace context. Such methods may include electronic mail (email), instant messaging and other similar applicationsweb-based platforms. Identify the purpose, audience , digital communication applications for the communication and select the most appropriate. Create ongoing digital communication, identify urgent, confidential, personal suspicious or potentially dangerous email and take appropriate action Create plan for monitoring and maintaining digital communications, store communications and empty inboxes and archive
Students will be able to use the internet and send and receive emails.
On the first session bring
Notebook and pen. Please wear warm clothing in Autumn and Winter as the air conditioning can be cold.
