Cake Decorating : Cup Cake Decorations


Learn skills in piping with butter cream and working with fondant to create many different designs to cover your cupcakes, including 3D animals in fondant. This course is suitable for beginners to the experienced. Learn different techniques to decorate cupcakes from novelty to more formal cakes. (Additional cost for ingredients)

1. Using butter cream in piping bag and working with fondant 2. Using everyday tools to create designs in sugar icing.

Course Outcome

They will have the confidence with working with a piping bag ,working with butter cream as well as fondant to continue on with being able to advance their skills to continue with larger cakes.

On the first session bring

One day course. Bring along 12 -24 baked cupcakes. Box of white fondant, butter cream (Teacher will have butter icing to purchase if preferred),food colours,spoon,small rolling pin, piping bags,and tubes,(star,petal,leaf tubes are suggested) sharp knife,cutters,modelling tools,frilled cookie cutters, cornflower in cloth (small amount Apron,cleaning cloth,plastic table cloth, baby wipes,paint brush,and small scissors To purchase most ingredients: Cake Decorating Solutions - Arndell Park
